Tetis Hero
Last Update: 2024-06-11
Objective
This guide focuses mainly on the challenge mode: If you haven't reached the challenge mode, we recommend that you do so quietly the story mode first before returning to this guide.
The main objective here is to help you to reach the maximum amount of points required on the Challenge Mode in order to get all rewards for the season.
This guide has been updated since Season 3 changes.
Setup & Progression
Some informations before dive inside.
What's Challenge Mode?
Challenge Mode differs from Story Mode by offering a total of 20 levels to complete. You can display a maximum of 4 Heroes, except for the final level with the boss, where all 8 Heroes can be used.
In each level (except the last one), you must defeat 7 waves of enemies. Each enemy has specific attacks and patterns.
You can add challenges to your run to increase your final score percentage but the difficulty will be harder.
To achieve the required score for all rewards, you must enable challenges that provide at least a +30% bonus.
Recommanded Heroes & Team-building
The element of monsters will be fixed for the duration of a season (for example, the current season features Water monsters).
We recommend using Earth heroes, but we want to highlight that most Dark Heroes are particularly effective in this mode.
Why are Dark Heroes especially useful? Many of them, such as Claude, Plague Doctor, Beth, Karina, and Vinette, possess significant self-sustain or even team-wide sustain abilities for your allies.
Generally, the optimal team composition consists of:
1 Tank / 2 Healers / 5 DPS
Regarding the merchs, if you're struggling with sustain, you can bring the Little Princess Statue and prioritize using it on important units such as Tanks or Healers. If your goal is to deal damage, Statues and Spaceships are the best choices.
For relics, since the set bonus is not enabled, you can equip Books or Cups for your DPS and Healers, and Bell for your Tank.
If you are having a hard time, you can enhance your Heroes with Blessing Books and engrave their weapons with Limit Breaking Hammers. However, we highly recommend doing this only for DPS heroes that you use in other modes as well. This is because it costs a lot of resources and is not the priority, especially for Tetis Hero.
For this guide, we highly recommand this team (especially Craig as Tank and Karina & Vinette as long you have Dark Heroes with her)
Fighting and Artifacts
The moment you place a hero on the board, the battle will start with a timer of 60 seconds. Therefore, we recommend always placing the Tank first to immediately taunt enemies. After that, you can add two DPS heroes and one Healer. The suggested team setup is effective because you can place Craig first, followed by Karina and Vinette. These two can both deal damage and heal your allies, making them versatile choices.
We specifically recommend displaying either Craig, then Karina, Beth, and Plague Doctor or Karina, Vinette, and Claude.
On each end of battle, you will be able to access some Artifacts or Bonus (Heal or Revive Allies).
We highly recommend using Artifacts like the Horn for invulnerability, especially at high levels. If you are not focused solely on Melee or Ranged, we suggest using Dice to benefit both types.
Here is the list of available Artifacts
Name | Hero needed Only available if this hero is in your team | Effects |
Sword | - | Increases melee damage |
Bow | - | Increases ranged damage |
Dice | - | Increases crit hit multiplier |
Chains | - | Increases Skill Damage & Chain Skill (Atk / Heal) |
Tactical Inductor | - | Deals damage to enemies on a random location every 4 seconds. |
Soul Stone | - | Each time a dead hero is resurrected, that hero's attack power and defense increase. |
Horn of the Morning Sun | - | When you deploy a hero after the battle begins, it grants invincibility to that hero and nearby allies for a certain period of time. |
Spirit Tree Totem | - | When you deploy a hero after the battle begins, the weapon skill recharge time of that hero and nearby allies will be reduced. |
Justice Comic Book | - | Each time a wave passes within a stage, the attack power and defense power of undeployed heroes increase. |
Goddess Offering | Plitvice | Chances of not taking damage and resisting afflictions when hit by enemies. |
Safe Boat | Marina | When the shield is removed, it inflicts damage based on the maximum HP of the hero around it. |
Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Without Chips | Eugene | Damage increases to enemies affected by Atk Debuff. |
Designer Coat | Crosselle | Atk increases for 5 seconds immediately after obtaining a shield. |
Privacy Bag | Loraine (Beach) | Acquires a shield based on damage inflicted on enemies. |
Elemental Communicator | Estel | Decreases weapon skill recharge time when killing an enemy. |
Climb to the end!
The further you progress through the stages, the more varied the enemies will be, and the more complex they will become.
Always display the Tank to start the battle, then others heroes.
For the final boss (at level 20/20), place the Tank directly in front of the boss. Position Melee units on the right side of your board, and place Ranged and Healer units on the opposite edge to minimize damage from melee attacks.
And last reminder, don't forget to spend your Tetis Coins on Shop, once a season ends, it will be reset.

You will find here a gameplay showcase from a KR player, CranberryGuardian, (some of his heroes are Blessed and some weapons are Engraved too). Thanks to him!
